2006 में आज ही के दिन इराक के तानाशाह सद्दाम हुसैन को फांसी दे दी गई थी.सद्दाम पर अमेरिका ने रासायनिक हथियार बनाने का आरोप लगाया था.और न नष्ट करने पर इराकपर हमला कर दिया था.सद्दाम हुसैन 1979 से लेकर 2003 तक इराकके राष्ट्रपति रहे.इराकके कुर्द समुदाय के प्रति क्रूरता का रवैया रखने वाले सद्दाम को भारत का समर्थक माना जाता था.कहा जाता है की सद्दाम ने अपने पिता को कभी नहीं देखा था.उनके जन्म के 6 महीने पहले ही उनके पिता गायब हो गए और मां ने दूसरी शादी कर ली.सौतेले पिता के खराब बर्ताव से तंग आकर सद्दाम ने अपना घर छोड़ दिया.वो अपने मामा के घर रहे और उनकी बेटी से ही शादी की.वैसे सद्दाम ने कुल 3 शादिय
